Friend Of Mine refined & restrained

Friend Of Mine is a brand evolving. In a few short years designers Teale Talbot and Letitia McLean have turned the casual glam-grunge aesthetic the brand was born with into something more polished; something more equipped to stand alone on the international stage. And yet that original aesthetic has never had to pack its bags - only to grow up a little.

For fall 2012 that means a mix of toughness and refined cool that comes from the marriage of sheer fabrics and leathers, masculine details and feminine ones. This next phase of the Friend Of Mine girl’s life has her trading in her motorcycle boots for stilettos, her bed-hair for a slick ponytail. But there’s nothing in these pieces to suggest they couldn’t be worn with both.
